Children’s Fairyland turns 60 this year!

We’re asking all of Fairyland’s friends, young and old, to participate in this magical celebration by making a gift to Fairyland of $60, $600 or $6,000. Your gift at any level is greatly appreciated!

$60 donors will receive one of our unique 60th Anniversary Commemorative Buttons and be acknowledged on the first tier of our three-tier cake sculpture, to be displayed at Fairyland for a limited time.

$600 donors will receive the full set of our five unique 60th Anniversary
Commemorative Buttons and a special miniature Magic Key pin. You will also be acknowledged on the middle layer of our three-tier cake sculpture.

$6,000 donors will receive the full set of our five unique 60th Anniversary Commemorative Buttons, a special miniature Magic Key pin, and a unique, limited-edition book of watercolors of Fairyland’s most special sets and
buildings. This book is not otherwise available.. And you will be
acknowledged on the top layer of our three-tier cake sculpture.

If you’re part of a group—for example, Rotary, Lake Merritt Breakfast Club, a family, the 1982 cast of “Snow White”—you can pool your gifts and receive a group acknowledgment at the cumulative level.

Since 1994, Children’s Fairyland has been run as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means we are eligible for grants, bond funds, and tax-deductible contributions from individuals who want to see us thrive in our second half-century.

We accept cash donations in any amount, sponsorship of specific events or programs, and monthly pledges charged to your credit card and matching gifts from employers. We also welcome planned giving and bequests. Email us to receive a donation form.

Your tax-deductible gift can help Fairyland:

• underwrite costume fees for children in our Children’s Theater Program whose families cannot afford them…
• provide scholarships for children who would like to attend our Summer Camp but lack the funds…
• pay for an interpreter to translate the stories in our talking storybook boxes into Spanish…
• provide fresh food, packaged feed, or veterinary care for our more than 25 domestic animals…
• help us create a Children’s Fairyland archive at the Oakland Public Library…

In addition, we welcome donations to the silent and live auctions at our annual fundraising Gala. Recent auction items have included artworks, vacation getaway packages, gift certificates for merchandise and services, and lunch with a world-renowned opera singer. Email us to learn more!
