Celebrate Latinx Heritage at Fairyland!

Join us for three full weekends of family fun celebrating and uplifting the vibrant beauty within the Latinx diaspora. Traditional arts & crafts, games from various countries, hands-on learning activities, food exploration, enriching experiences, and exciting live cultural performances await!

Weekend One: September 26 & 27

“Cuentos con Ritmo” by Colors of Spanish

A Spanish-language program for young children and their families, immersing participants in stories, music, movement, rhymes, and games.

Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month with a musical live storytelling event: El Brujo y la Sirena (The Wizard and the Mermaid) — an original story with original music by Jorge Liceaga.

Sunday, October 4 — Ballet Folklórico by Cuicacalli
🕐 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM | 📍 Aesop’s Playhouse
The San Francisco-based dance company brings its youth dancers to Fairyland every year. Known for its Indigenous, Ballet Folklórico, and Contemporary Dance programs, this powerful show is a crowd favorite and a must-see performance.

Afro-Peruvian Music and Dance by Cunamacué

Audiences of all ages will experience the rhythms, instruments, and expressive dances of Peru’s African diaspora, including Zamacueca, Zapateo, and Festejo.
