Children’s Fairyland is a whimsical 10-acre storybook park on the shores of Oakland’s Lake Merritt, designed for families with little ones (ages 0-8). Explore magical playsets, meet friendly animals, watch puppet shows, and enjoy rides, live performances and hands-on fun in a safe, outdoor wonderland. Sparking imagination and joy since 1950!

Our annual Bunny Weekend returns for two flowerful days of eggs-traordinary festivities! Daily egg hunts, nature inspired arts & crafts, spring games, cookie decorating, and educational activities make for a blooming garden of family fun.

Mad Tea Party

Friday, April 24, 2026. 6 to 10 pm.
Fairyland’s Adults-Only (21+) Alice in Wonderland experience returns! Mad Tea Party is a journey down the rabbit hole into a Black Light Dance Party where costumes, cocktails, and cabaret combine for one magical night of whimsical madness. Ride the Jolly Trolly, get lost in Alice’s maze, and enjoy a wildly surreal night on The Town.
