Every weekend in May, Fairyland invites you and your family to enjoy lively performances, folklore, storytelling, music, art, games, and food as we affirm and uplift the vibrant beauty and diversity within the Asian and Pacific Islander diaspora.
Explore the flavors, rhythms, dances, and crafts across tapestries of cultures. Celebrate community and tradition all month long.
Plus: brand new Book Celebration with Charlotte Cheng’s “Icy Fruit” on Monday, May 26.

- 11:00-1:00 p.m. Learn Siapo – Traditional Fabric of the Samoa Islands
- 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Gaga Dance Performance. Youth dancers from Gaga Dance Group perform classical art forms and folk dances that explore China’s rich cultural heritage.
May 10 & 11

Meet Chef Sam Butarbutar from Third Culture Bakery. Chef Sam does a donut demo and kids get to decorate and eat their own mochi donut! - 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Halau Makana Polynesian Dancers bring their mesmerizing flow to Aesop’s Playhouse for one day only.
