Dress up in your most enchanted attire and join us for an adults-only Alice in Wonderland experience at Children’s Fairyland. As the evening sets in, the 10-acre storybook park transforms into a whimsical playground made especially for the young at heart.
Dance under the Oakland stars on a black light dance floor.
Encounter Wonderland mischief and theatrical surprises by Live Loud Circus.
Get lost in the Alice in Wonderland maze.
Ride the Jolly Trolly.
Imbibe in curious magic potions.

How much do tickets cost?
Single Tickets (21+)
$28 General Admission
$23 Children’s Fairyland Members
The Gilded Chrysalis Package
$200 for four guests and includes priority entry, reserved lounge seating above the party, sparkling wine, light bites, party favors, and a dedicated photo opportunity.
Drinks and food will be available for purchase throughout the park.
Ticket proceeds support Children’s Fairyland, helping keep admission affordable for local families and funding programs like summer camp scholarships, free field trips, and Fairyland for All memberships.
Can I bring children to this event?
No. Mad Tea Party is a 21+ adults-only event. All guests must be 21 or older and present a valid ID for entry.
Is parking available at the event?
Yes. Parking is available on Bellevue Avenue, operated by the City of Oakland. Parking is first come, first served.
When should I arrive?
Pre-screening begins at 5:30 p.m. We can open the Fairy Gates at 6:00 p.m. Please have your ID and QR code ready to keep the line moving.
Will drinks and food be available?
Yes. Beer, wine, themed cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, along with food from local vendors and food trucks throughout the park.
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
Can I give my ticket to someone else?
Yes. Tickets may be transferred to another guest as long as the ticket holder presents the QR code and valid 21+ ID.
Which attractions will be open?
All of our storybook sets and attractions (including the Jolly Trolly) will be open except for our tot-sized attractions:
- Anansi’s Magic Web
- Flecto Carousel
- Wonder-Go-Round
The Jolly Trolly and Alice in Wonderland Tunnel are favorites on our 21+ nights!
Note: The animals will already be tucked away for the night.
