Kick off the fourth season of our live kids-get-cooking show with the owner/chef of Oakland's beloved bakery of now-viral fame, Tarts de Feybesse!Meet, Greet, and Eat!Chef Monique takes the stage alongside Fairyland's furry puppet mascot, Quercus for a lively, step-by-step demonstration designed for young audiences and their grownups who want the inside scoop on The Town's best places to dine. Everyone gets a sample of the Chef's delish dish and takes home a recipe card to keep the magic going at home! 5 events,Filming & Photography in the Park on Saturday, April 18Play will be in full swing, but you may notice a video and photo shoot taking place in select areas throughout the park, including the Jolly Trolly, Storybook Puppet Theater, Lower Plaza/Happy Dragon, and the park entrance. The 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. puppet shows will have reserved seating for participating families. If you prefer not to be part of filming, we recommend attending the 2 p.m. puppet show. Guests are welcome to participate as background “extras” and will be asked to sign a consent form. If you prefer not to be on camera, you can request a bright, colorful wristband at the entrance and avoid marked filming zones during the designated times.
