Camp Out Under the Stars at Fairyland!

Create a magical summer memory with your family at an overnight campout inside Children’s Fairyland in Oakland. Our Summer Sleepovers invite families to pitch tents, enjoy rides at sunset,  watch a live puppet show, share dinner together, and fall asleep under the stars in a safe, supervised environment designed for kids. 

Each sleepover includes dinner, popcorn, rides, special evening entertainment, a bedtime story, and a continental breakfast the next morning. Just bring a tent and sleeping bags—we’ll do the rest!

Cost: $80 per person (includes dinner + breakfast)
Capacity: Limited to 200 guests per night

Registration opens in March:
Fairyland Members: Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12 p.m. PST
General Public: Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12 p.m. PST

Tickets are $80 per person, and space is limited to 200 guests per event.

What to Expect:
Entertainment & Activities

From setting up camp to waking up with the animals, here’s how your Summer Sleepover will unfold:

Evening:

5:30 p.m. – Gates Open; Check-in at Teddy Bear Picnic Gate
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Set up camp
5:30 to 7:00 p.m. – Dinner in Old West
8:00 p.m. – Puppet Show
8:15 p.m. – Popcorn
8:30 p.m. – Special Performance at the Emerald City Stage
9:15 p.m. – Bedtime story
9:30 p.m. – Get ready for bed
10:00 p.m. – Lights out and off to dreamland!

Morning:

6:00 a.m. – Wake Up
6:00 to 7:30 a.m. – Continental Breakfast in the Old West
7:30 a.m. – Pack up camp
8:00 a.m. – Exit the park

Throughout the evening, families will enjoy rides, time to explore Fairyland after hours, special evening activities, and the special experience of falling asleep inside the park and watching our animals wake up in the morning.
