Three chances to camp out: June 20, July 25, & August 8 Pack up your posse and get ready for an unforgettable outdoor overnight experience! Tickets are $80 per person Includes dinner by Rico Rico Taco, snacks, and continental breakfast. Meet 30+ kid-lit book creators ready to inspire. Enjoy captivating stories read aloud by the authors themselves. Watch talented illustrators bring stories to life before your eyes. Cheer on the remarkable 8 to 12-year-olds from our Youth Writers’ Workshop, hosted by Natasha Tripplett. Shop for books by all the participating book creators. Meet, Greet, and Eat! Chef Nelson German of alaMar Domican Kitchen takes the stage alongside Fairyland's furry puppet mascot, Quercus for a lively, step-by-step demonstration designed for young audiences! Grownups who want the inside scoop on The Town's best places to dine get a sneak peek behind the culinary curtain and children enjoy a live interactive show that sparks curiosity, confidence, and a love for yummy cuisine. Everyone gets a sample of the Chef's delish dish and takes home a recipe card to keep the magic going at home! Your little ones will: explore ingredients discover new flavors learn simple cooking techniques enjoy mindful food-centered entertainment get excited about helping out in the kitchen receive an activity booklet and crayons to follow along laugh with Quercus all the way through taste the final product meet Quercus and Chef for questions, high fives, and photos.
