    Join us for a day where the Bay Area’s most talented kid-lit authors, illustrators, publishers, sellers, and educators come together to celebrate the magic of BOOKS! Meet 30+ kid-lit book creators ready to inspire. Enjoy captivating stories read aloud by the authors themselves. Watch talented illustrators bring stories to life before your eyes. Cheer on the remarkable 8 to 12-year-olds from our Youth Writers’ Workshop, hosted by Natasha Tripplett. Shop for books by all the participating book creators.     Fairyland proudly host Arte de los Muertos, our Día de los Muertos art exhibit featuring original work by TK to 5th-grade students from a local Oakland. Displayed inside our chapel, the exhibit brings together student artwork and traditional elements that honor the spirit, symbolism, and beauty of Día de los Muertos.  Visitors are invited to step inside during their park visit to experience this meaningful, celebratory installation and support the creativity of a new generation of artists. Arte de los Muertos Date: November 1 & 7-8, 2026 Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: Included with General Admission More details to come in Summer/Early Fall 2026.

As day turns to night, the park glows with festive lights, illuminating holiday stories, decorations, entertainment, and joyful moments from cultures around the world. Families are invited to wander, warm up, and celebrate together with seasonal activities, performances, and surprises as Fairyland comes alive after dark.  Fairy Winterland Date: December 12-13, 19-20 & 26-27 Time: 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost: Special Event Pricing (to-be-announced) More details to come in fall 2026.  Interested in sponsorship opportunities?
