    Drawn Together returns to Children's Fairyland for an intimate, grown-ups-only (21+) evening of art, drinks, and delightful encounters. Wander the park after hours as local artists create Fairyland-inspired artwork live, and before the night ends, take home a piece of the magic during a spirited live art sale.   • Oakland’s Magic Kitchen with Chef Nelson

    Meet, Greet, and Eat! Chef Nelson German of alaMar Domican Kitchen takes the stage alongside Fairyland's furry puppet mascot, Quercus for a lively, step-by-step demonstration designed for young audiences! Grownups who want the inside scoop on The Town's best places to dine get a sneak peek behind the culinary curtain and children enjoy a live interactive show that sparks curiosity, confidence, and a love for yummy cuisine. Everyone gets a sample of the Chef's delish dish and takes home a recipe card to keep the magic going at home! Your little ones will: explore ingredients discover new flavors learn simple cooking techniques enjoy mindful food-centered entertainment get excited about helping out in the kitchen receive an activity booklet and crayons to follow along laugh with Quercus all the way through taste the final product meet Quercus and Chef for questions, high fives, and photos.  Included with General Admission Aesop's Playhouse

  • Día de los Muertos: Chapel Exhibit & Performances

    Fairyland proudly host Arte de los Muertos, our Día de los Muertos art exhibit featuring original work by TK to 5th-grade students from a local Oakland. Displayed inside our chapel, the exhibit brings together student artwork and traditional elements that honor the spirit, symbolism, and beauty of Día de los Muertos.  Visitors are invited to step inside during their park visit to experience this meaningful, celebratory installation and support the creativity of a new generation of artists. Arte de los Muertos Date: November 1 & 7-8, 2026 Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: Included with General Admission More details to come in Summer/Early Fall 2026.

  • Twas the Night Before Fairy Winterland (21+)

    Twas the Night is the now-famous grownups only (21+) evening before Fairy Winterland, when the park transforms into a festive holiday party—one where you are invited to let loose! Wander an open-air night market, dance under the Fairy Winterland lights, enjoy live music from Bay Area talent, and eat and drink until your merry heart's content. Break out your ugliest sweater or most festive fit and celebrate the season with friends at Oakland’s most unique holiday party.
