Photo and Video Shoots
Fairyland offers a fairytale backdrop for your commercial photo and video shoots. Our magical storybook setting—complete with child-sized rides, storybook sets, and lush gardens—is the perfect stage for creative projects that need a touch of wonder. Please note that all commercial photography and videography must be approved in advance to preserve the integrity of our space. Unapproved shoots are not permitted. Park Rentals FAQ
General Information
1. What types of spaces are available for rent?
We offer a variety of magical spaces, including outdoor pavilions, themed areas, and open-air event spaces.
2. Can I rent the entire park?
Full park buyouts may be available on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the package, a park rental may include exclusive access to the entire park.
3. How long can I rent a space?
Park rentals are for 2- 6 hours. We recommend using the first hour for setup and the last hour for cleanup. Additional time may be available for an extra fee.
4. Do park rentals include admission?
Yes! Depending on the package, admission is included for 50 to 150 guests. Additional admission can be arranged if needed.
Booking & Payments
5. How do I book a rental?
To begin the rental process, contact our events team. A signed agreement and a deposit are required to secure your date.
6. What is the deposit amount?
A $500 deposit will hold your date for up to two weeks.
7. When is the final payment due?
Final payment is due 10 days before your event.
8. What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least two months in advance may be eligible for a refund, minus the deposit and any vendor deposits paid on your behalf by Fairyland.
Event Logistics
9. Can we bring outside food and drinks?
Yes! Outside food and beverages are welcome.
10. Are decorations allowed?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring decorations, but they must be pre-approved and meet park guidelines. Please note that confetti, glitter, and open flames are not permitted.
11. Do rentals include tables and chairs?
Yes, most rentals include a set number of tables and chairs. Additional rentals may be available upon request.
12. Can we bring in outside vendors?
Yes! Outside vendors are welcome, but they must comply with park policies.
13. Is amplified music allowed?
Music is permitted, but it must comply with park noise policies. Please check with us regarding any sound restrictions.
Weather & Contingencies
What happens if it rains? Can we reschedule?
We recommend having a backup plan, as some spaces have covered areas. Rescheduling due to weather is considered on a case-by-case basis and is subject to availability. Let us know if you’d like to discuss alternative arrangements.

16. Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available for guests. However, it is managed by the City of Oakland and may cost $5.00 per vehicle.
17. Are pets allowed?
With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted in the park.
18. Can we schedule a tour before booking?
