Bunny Weekend (Apr 19th – Apr 20th)

Saturday, April 19 and Sunday, April 20 Join us for our annual Bunny Weekend, an egg-ceptional two days of festive Fairyland fun for everyone! We’re springing into sunlit play and celebrating the season of new beginnings. Hare’s what’s happening: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Fairyland Eggs-change 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Arts & Crafts 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Fairyland Flower Find 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Cookie Decorating 1:30 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.: Mother Goose performances Eggs-Change Your little ones will be egg-static as they search for 3 wooden eggs of the same color to then “eggs-change” those treasures for an even bigger score: the ultimate egg prize! Arts & Crafts: Flower Crown Come create a spring-tastic flower crown in the Old West. Fairyland Flower Find Look and learn in a scavenger hunt where the fun is found identifying flowers by sight and name. Win a packet of wildflower seeds to start your own gardens at home! Cookie Decorating Sugar cookies + frosting +sprinkles = delicious creativity. Come to the Humpty Dumpty Wall while supplies last! A Series of Family-Friendly Cooking Shows Back for its third season, Oakland’s Magic Kitchen brings the heart of Oakland’s food scene to Aesop’s Playhouse—live, family-friendly, and full of flavor. And this year's lineup? It's bringing the heat!  Created especially for kids and their grownups, this playful cooking show invites top local chefs to prepare delicious, easy-to-make dishes on stage with some help from everyone’s favorite furry friend, Quercus. Throughout each show, chefs guide the audience through a step-by-step recipe while Quercus keeps the littlest foodies engaged with fun questions, an ingredient-spotting activity, and plenty of  silly antics. Expect laughter, learning, and lots of creative, delicious, nutritious fare.  Stirring up fun!
