Children’s Fairyland shines bright during Fairy Winterland! An Oakland tradition for 20 years, this magical, multicultural event brings families together to share in the season’s many festivities.  United by Light Holiday celebrations across the globe carry one common thread between them all at the end of the year: light! Author/illustrator Steph Lau brings her delightful debut picture book “The Abominable Snow Dancer” to Fairyland for a live read-aloud, an intimate Q&A, art demo, and a book signing following the fun.
